A program focused on the development of scientific research in architecture and urban planning, addressing various issues related to habitat, the built environment, cities and their transformation processes, as well as the development of innovative proposals that contribute to sustainable development and quality of life.

This research line adopts an interdisciplinary approach combining theory and practice to address challenges related to the design of habitable spaces, urban planning, and artistic expression. Architecture and urban planning are grounded in theories of territorial development, sustainability, and habitability, while construction incorporates technological innovation and efficient use of materials. Visual arts contribute an aesthetic, symbolic, and critical dimension that enriches cultural and social processes. Together, this research line promotes the creation of sustainable, inclusive, and culturally meaningful environments.
